Cheryl Woods is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS), a distinction shared with only 3% of California mortgage brokers. As a long-time mortgage-planning practitioner, she works with her clients to clarify their short, medium and long-term goals and needs in relation to their home or commercial purchase, refinance or construction project. All possible loan options available in the marketplace are presented to her client for evaluation in meeting these goals and needs. Cheryl’s relationship-building skills are the strength of her mortgage practice. Whether first time homebuyer, large commercial purchase, lender representatives or appraisers, she engages in highly successful and effective partnerships for her client’s success. Her ability to follow and assess the day-to-day fluctuations on the economic and financial arenas that affect mortgage rates and programs is a skill mastered in her previous endeavor as a stockbroker.

A mortgage career professional, Cheryl is intent that every client be her client for life. Dedicating herself to only the best service, rate/loan programs and follow-up skills continues to make that goal a reality. An active community participant and volunteer, Cheryl is a board member of the American Red Cross and the Napa Women’s Club as well as a member of Napa Sunrise Rotary and a graduate of Leadership Napa Valley. “There’s no mortgage or rate to which I don’t have access,” says Cheryl, whose customer service motto is, “I treat people the same way I’d like to be treated.”
